I found these shorts at Target and loved them! They are a super bright pink so I paired it with a very neutral top to balance it out. Also, I had a few blog helpers today. I usually do my blogging while the girls are down for a nap…but waited a little longer today so Bostyn and Blakely made an appearance in some pictures today.

I love peanut butter. It is delicious with jelly, chocolate….and bananas! Pancakes with peanut butter and bananas was a must try. The first day we just had them with a little extra pb on top and a few slices of bananas. The next day, we went all out with nutella syrup.
Original recipe from favfamilyrecipes.com
Peanut Butter Banana Pancakes
1 Cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp of Salt
1 1/2 Cups of Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 Cups Peanut Butter
1 Mashed Banana
**Mix all ingredeints except banana until incorporated. Then mix in banana. Cook on hot electric skillet by spooning 1/4 cup of batter onto skillet. Flip after 1-2 minutes then cook another 1-2 minutes on other side.**
(I cut recipe in half…original recipe makes more)
1/4 Cup Butter
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Milk
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Vanilla
1/8 Cup Nutella
**Combine butter, sugar, and milk in sauce pan over medium heat. When mixture start to boil reduce heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Remove from heat and stir in nutella until melted. Serve over hot pancakes.**
The girls thought they were pretty darn good. Of course, they preferred them with nutella syrup…who wouldn’t!
As I mentioned yesterday we spent Saturday celebrating my sweet nieces birthday. She turned 3! Yep, three years ago this little girl surprised us all on Mother Day. So Special! She is so smart and a great big cousin. She played with the girls, hugged and kissed them, and even shared her banana with them. It was a super fun day full of play.
Bostyn and Blakely playing so sweet.

Sorry for the blurry pictures….camera issues…ugh! Anyway, it was a little cooler today that I expected so I chose a sleeveless maxi dress with a dotted chambray shirt tied up. It’s a fun way to wear stripes and dots and get a little more wear out of a summer dress.

Today I shared lunch with a few good friends at a local Italian resturaunt . We loaded up on carbs and tried to keep or dear friend calm (she is going to the hospital tonight to have her first child).
I opted for a comfy but stylish option…skinny jeans and a minted top with a little platinum detail.

Today we took a dip in our new giraffe pool, a gift from our Grammie. The girls were a little unsure of the big giraffe that was sitting in our back yard, but quickly warmed up to him.
Bostyn and Blakely in the water with Daddy.
Blakely had so much fun playing with the tops of the Miller Lite bottles, I know……don’t judge!

The water was a little too cold for this momma, so I just enjoyed the vitamin D. Always so fun to spend a weekday evening enjoying the family.
