These little girls are too much! I couldn’t get them to both give a good face in one picture so I’m having to share a few. These tops are too adorable paired with skinny jeans and a white bolero.

When I think of fall, I typically think of brown, orange, mustards, and navy. I don’t necessarily think of bright colors. The great think about kid fashion is no matter the season or event, bright colors ALWAYS work.

This years visit to the pumpkin patch was a bit more eventful than last year. We didn’t just push them around in a stroller and let them hold the little pumpkins….Oh no, this year they ran, picked the pumpkins up and loved pushing/pulling the wagons. It was so fun to watch them. They are definitely growing up and turning into beautiful little girls.
My little pumpkins!

Leopard seems to transition into every season. It was hear for summer and is now making it’s appearance for fall. If I was to guess it will also be sticking around from winter and spring as well. This print almost seems as though it is a neutral like black, white, and grey. So If that’s the case, I will continue to let this section of my closet grow.

Navy Top-Old Navy
This whole outfit was put together simply to wear a bracelet that I got ….and loved. Ha! It’s funny the things that inspire us. I have found that often, many of my outfits are based upon jewelry. Might be a problem :/

Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean you have to tone down your color palate to fall-ish colors. Brights are great all year round….so why not wear neon tights?

What a CUTIE!
Blakely is my only little model today. Sister was not feeling like a photo shoot.
Blakely’s wearing a casual fall outfit,…nothing like a sweater and some skinny jeans.

I love single serve deserts. They’re fresh, warm, and keeps me from going back to the cookie jar a million times a day (and night). So, with somewhat cooler weather, I wanted to make something with toasted pecans. It just sounded yummy. So I found a recipe for chocolate chip toffee cookies, added toasted pecans and cut the recipe down quite a bit to only make enough batter dough for 3 deep dishes.
Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Toffee Pecan Cookies
1 1/3 cups of Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Cup o1f Butter (1 Stick)
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1 small Egg (or not quite all of large one)
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/3 Cup Chocolate Chips
1/3 Cup Toffee Bits
1/3 Cup Toasted Pecans
**Preheat oven to 375. Spray 3 ramekins with non stick spray. Blend butter and sugars together until creamy, then add in egg and vanilla. gradually add flour, powder and soda. Stir in chips, bits, and pecans. Divide into ramekins (should be about 1/3 cup mixture in each) Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.**
We spend Sunday as a little family…..on the back porch, playing and watching football. Corey smoked a chicken which was delicious! The girls enjoyed alittle time outside until the flies got out of control. It was a nice, relaxing day.

Banana Chocolate Oat Cookies
1 Cup of Oats
Cinnamon to taste
1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
** Mash Banana, mix in oats and cinnamon. Add in chocolate chips. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.**
This weekend we spent in Jal with MiMi and PawPaw. Corey played in a golf tournament and the girls had a great time seeing Corey’s parents and great grand parents. I just love to see them so friendly with everyone. They really are sweet little girls.
These are a few pictures Joey snapped before we headed off to church.

I love pairing muted neutrals with bright neons. Its a fun look that can carry into fall. These leopard skinny jeans are perfect to pair with a orange, neon, striped T-shirt.

I just picked up these cute ankle boots from target and couldn’t wait till it got cooler to wear them……so. I decided to wear them today with shorts. Looking at this outfit, I realize that everything I’m wearing (including accessories) are from Target. I just love that store.
Both the flannel shirt and graphic t are from the guys dept and shorts are from the juniors.
