Eating healthier is not always easy or convenient. For me having certain things on hand makes it so much easier to make a smart and healthy choice. Here are some of the things I really like to have.
Mangos, Blueberries, Strawberries, Apples, & Bananas
Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes, Avocado, Tomatoes, Green Beans
I know these are not nearly as good as fresh Brussels Sprouts (which often times we have fresh in on hand as well), but I like to keep these in the freezer because we all like them and we never have to use the excuse that we don’t have any veggies in the fridge.
Tuna, Green Chilies, Veggie Pasta, and Veggie Straws
Condiments are a good way to spruce up what can sometimes be a boring healthy meal. These are a few that I like to use. They are all low in calories, but can also be high in sodium, so as with everything they are used in moderation.
